This is what happens when a Democrat becomes rich and suddenly discovers her tax burden. If she lives in New York, she’s paying a 9% state income tax on top of 37% federal and 7% FICA taxes. So she gets to keep 47 cents of every dollar she makes. And then when she wishes to buy something with her leftover 47 cents, literally anything, she pays a 9% state sales tax. Profanity warning.
