Trump has appointed one of the worst neocons of all as National Security Advisor. In fact, he is absolutely the worst non-Jew member of that particular group.
But the Jews are torn on this issue.

You may have heard: President Donald Trump replaced his national security adviser, H.R. McMaster, with John Bolton.
You may have heard because of the mixed reaction to the prospect of Bolton running national security — “mixed” as in apocalyptic among leftists and heaven-sent to many on the right.
Look no further than the pro-Israel spectrum for each extremes:
“We are horrified by his selection to be national security adviser and believe this move by the president gravely imperils our country’s national standing and the fundamental security of the United States and its allies, including Israel,” said Jeremy Ben-Ami, the president of J Street, the dovish Jewish Middle East policy lobby.
“I have no doubt that the sensitivity and skill that permeates everything he does will be evident to the entire nation in his new role as President Trump’s national security adviser,” said Joseph Frager, the first vice president of the National Council of Young Israel, a hawkish Orthodox group. “Mazel Tov, old friend, on your well-deserved appointment.”
This highlights the growing gap between extremist and anti-extremist Jews, which is taking place in Israel over the attempted ousting of Bibi Netanyahu.
Basically, there remain the extremist Jews who want to continue endless war against the Arabs using the US war machine, but there are a growing number of liberal, non-extremist Jews who worry that Israel is going to end up destroying itself if it keeps pushing this endless war agenda. Some of the liberal Jews are also women, who just want to have sex with Arabs and asylum seekers and probably don’t care too much about other policies.
One thing to understand: if Bibi is ousted, any influence John Bolton has will be largely meaningless, as he will have no counterpart in Israel to organize his kook schemes with.
