The controversial American/English/French coalitions missile strikes in Syria last night have resulted in minimal damage to the Syrian army, as ZeroHedge overviews.
According to Russian and Syrian media, Out of the 103 Tomahawk Missiles utilized by coalition forces against the Syrian army targets, 71 were successfully deflected by the Syrian army using outdated 30 year old Soviet era anti aircraft systems.
The state media reported that three Syrians were injured by the strikes, with no military personnel killed. The Dumeir military airfield, one of the coalition targets, emerged completely unharmed.
It seems this entire attack appears to have been a hollow show of force as the Syrians have emerged unscathed.
I seriously doubt that any country has a missile defense that is 70 percent effective, but I would be willing to believe that a lot of American missiles simply missed their intended targets.
I believe he shorted deep state here. He knew it was an ff and he and Mattis weren't getting drawn in. The attack was purely symbolic. Deep state got the bare minimum and that's it.
Thank God that so little damage was done in this unnecessary, unconstitutional, stupid-ass action.
The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable. ~ H. L. Mencken
The Syrians have the S-200. The Russians in Syria have the S-400. The Iranians have their own version of the S-400 which they got under license from Russia. If the Iranians gave their version of the S-400 to Syria, it would knock a lot of missiles and planes out of the sky causing WW III.
A better plan for Iran would be for the Iranian controlled popular militias in Iraq to use American weapons and attack American air bases in Iraq.
