Rudolph Hess parachuted into Scotland with a peace offer from Hitler for the British. But he was arrested and incarcerated. in 1945 he was sent to Nuremberg for war crimes trial. He was convicted and put in Spandau prison where he died in 1987. Hitler claimed that he was suffering from "pacifist delusions". ;)
