This story is making the rounds in the airline community recently:

An American Airlines FA, close friends with one of the American FA's that was aboard one of the 911 flights, was shopping while on vacation in Toronto, Canada two years after 911. As she is waiting in line to pay for her purchase, she is shocked to see her "dead" F/A friend walk by. She hails her by name. The "dead" F/A turns, stops, and their eyes meet. The "dead" F/A runs out of the store into the crowd in the mall. The AA F/A runs after her, setting off store shoplifting sensors from the unpaid merchandise in her arms. Security detains her and the "dead" F/A blends into the crowd. The AA F/A is 100% certain of the deceased's identity...she was wearing the tennis bracelet given her as a present the previous Christmas. She attended both AA's and her family's memorial services. Here's a question...

What is more plausible?

1. The Flight Attendant that was seen is alive and well, but leading a secret life hiding away somewhere in Canada.

2. The person who saw the flight attendant was actually trying to rip off the store in question.

This isn't the first time someone who is supposed to be dead, has been seen. Remember that one chick who apparently was laundering money in Italy last year? Barb Olsen or somesuch?

Now, if I were the government, and I had just perpetrated the biggest act of terrorism against the American People, which would I do?

Allow people to live, who can expose the treason and lies, OR... Murder them in cold blood to keep the secret? I mean, if we're talking conspiracies here, let's be intellectually honest. Which do you think the government or powers that be would do? Considering how easy it is to pay people off in high places to cover shit up, what are a few hundred murders?

If this flight attendant was alive in 2003, she most certainly is not today. There is no reason to allow potential witnesses of a crime to remain alive. Especially when there is quite a bit of treason that has been committed.

I firmly believe that the person who saw the flight attendant believes what she saw. Unfortunately, I am not convinced of the fact, because if I had something that earthshattering to hide, I sure as hell wouldn't leave any witnesses behind. There are criminals who rob grocery stores who kill witnesses for fuck's sake. What makes anyone believe that the government or any other agency wouldn't do the same, especially considering what is at stake?

I agree with you on this, Tommy - I see no sense in keeping any witnesses alive. It would be most unlike our govt. Moreover, there are still people who are convinced they've seen Elvis.
