Canthama A lot of hype last night as some non essential sites inside Syria were attacked, near Hama city and eastern Aleppo, the result was unfortunately the loss of 13 KIA SAA solders with few dozens WIA, and contrary to what was speculated last night, no Iranians, nor militias funded by Iran were hit. All the human losses were from one site in Hama while in Aleppo no losses at all. Regarding material loses, the attack was limited, and destroyed regular ammunition like a large cache of mortars and grad rockets, many were recently piled up to support the offensive in the Rastan pocket. For the past few days, large Antonov cargo planes made several round trips from Iran toward Hama airbase, al Nayrab airbase near Aleppo’s International airport and T4 airbase. As for Israel, Russia has very good relationships with Israel, and ALWAYS looked the other way when they bombed Syria or Lebanon, nothing changed in this regard. Its much like a delicate dance US does with Turkey and Kurds. As for S-300, Russia is very reluctant to give those to Syria (and previously Iran), what to speak of S-400. Again its because Russia looks whats best for them, not Syria/Iran, its just geopolitics, nothing personal.
