London Ambulance Service and the Jewish volunteer ambulance service Hatzola attended and treated "multiple patients" for burn injuries. The Jewish news website Yeshiva World said around thirty people were treated and ten taken to hospital. The severity of the injuries is currently not known. The cause of the explosion also remains unclear although several witnesses claimed a mobile phone had been thrown onto the bonfire.
