In an interview with David Axelrod on CNN Yates was asked about spies being sent at the direction of the Obama Administration. You cant get more direct than that. Instead of immediately shooting it down, Yates added more fuel to the fire. Yates responded with a punt saying, Its under investigation now and I think I have to leave it to this Department of Justice and F.B.I. to make decisions about what information theyre going to publicly release so I cant really comment on that specific situation. In other words, she did not deny that the Obama Administration may have embedded spies in the campaign. Im not buying the whole cant comment on an ongoing investigation thing. Shes not on the stand right now, there is no threat of perjury. If you believe its all nonsense then just say so. Instead, she says she needs to leave it to this Department of Justice and F.B.I. to make decisions about what information theyre going to publicly release. What information is she talking about? That is the most intriguing part of her statement. That to me is very telling that something nefarious may have gone on behind the scenes. But only time will tell. Here is part of the transcript: AXELROD: How do you react to that, the implication that spies were sent in at the direction of the Obama Administration? YATES: Yeah, well, youre right. Its under investigation now and I think I have to leave it to this Department of Justice and F.B.I. to make decisions about what information theyre going to publicly release so I cant really comment on that specific situation. AXELROD: Not on the specifics, but what about the general sense that this was a politically inspired investigation. YATES: Again, Im not going to speak to this specific one, but I will say this. Look, I was with DOJ for 27 years. I can tell you that the men and women of the department of justice take the responsibility very seriously. Investigations there are done based on the facts and the law and not based on politics. And Im confident that that will be the result of this investigation as well. Poster Comment: Yates is apparently a part of the Deep State and has been with DOJ for 27 years. Should we be concerned with this? Post Comment Private Reply Ignore Thread
