(Sunnyvale is just a few miles north of San Jose.) After being listed in March for $1.45 million, it sold within 48 hours for $2 million, or $2,358 per square foot. With Sunnyvale's 1.25% property tax, the new owners are paying $2,083 per month, or $250,000 every 10 years. Poster Comment: $2 million for 848 square feet plus $2,083 a month for property tax. And this in CA no less! There was once a site called "Mansion or Hovel" or something that hilited this bizarre situation in Vancouver. You guessed whether each house shown was grossly overpriced there or normal (low low low) priced somewhere else.

Sunnyvale is 43% white.Schools would be hell for white children. Cupertino is even wealthier with better schools and even more expensive homes. (More than $2 million.) But Cupertino is only 31% white. Lots of Chinese so whites are relatively safer at school. Chinese are 61%. Latinos are only 3.6%.

What the frell does the price of housing in CA has to do with Immigration??? CA housing was always high, I lived there in the 70.
