The entire world was on edge. Threats of a nuclear war resulted in people building fallout shelters and stockpiling food, water and other supplies. Events including the Berlin Crisis of 1961 and the Cuban Missile Crisis of 1962 made many people very nervous. Now, nearly 50 years later, concerns of a crisis have not gone away. Recently, President Donald Trump said the relationship between the U.S. and Russia is worse "than it has ever been." Will Growing Tensions Lead to a Nuclear War? Tensions have been growing between the two countries over the last few months. Especially since the alleged chemical weapons attacks in Syria. Russia is still upset over the recent U.S. bombing there. All the while, intel has recently come out that Russia is engaging in cyber-attacks against the US. Including targeting our electrical grid and utilities. Of course we don't want to believe this deteriorating relationship will result in a nuclear war. But if one of the two countries start a nuclear war, the other will have no choice but to retaliate. Hopefully both sides realize everyone would lose in that type of conflict. Russia is Taking it Seriously. Are We? How seriously are they taking this situation over in Russia? Just recently a Russian television anchor told his viewers how to prepare for World War III. That advice included information about bomb shelters, the best food to pack and how iodine can protect against radiation. And this wasn't just some little known TV station in the eastern European country. It was Rossiya-24 News, owned by the Kremlin. Apparently they are taking it very seriously. The viewers were advised to pack plenty of rice because it can be stored for eight years. And oatmeal because it lasts for three to seven years. Plus canned meat, olive oil and milk powder. The anchor also suggested stockpiling plenty of water because it "will become the most precious source for residents of bomb shelters." Plus sealed waste containers and bleach. He also recommended taking "supplies of medicine with iodine" that helps the body deal with radiation. The Russian newscaster added, "the panic is worse in America" where the "business of bomb shelters is booming." Now, I don't know about that. But when an enemy with nukes makes threats and their TV anchors tell people to prepare for World War III, it's best to sit up and take notice. Protecting Yourself from Radiological Contamination In fact, it's important to stop and think about what this type of catastrophic event would mean for you and your family if you haven't already. When contamination occurs, a fallout shelter is your best bet. But assuming you do not have one nearby, quickly retreat to a basement and locate the corner furthest underground. If your home does not have a basement, go to the centermost part of the house or apartment, away from windows. Because exposure to radiological contamination can be fatal, you also need to be ready to protect yourself and family members in a hurry. Having a family kit ready in case of nuclear war, a dirty bomb explosion or a nuclear reactor accident is a good idea. Included in that kit should be: Plenty of drinking water What You Can Do Today One of the easiest things you can do today is to add Potassium Iodide tablets (KI caps) to your stockpile. Why? You have to start taking Potassium Iodide immediately if there's a radiation emergency. Even if your local hospital or FEMA office has a small stash, you can't get there in time for the handouts. Not to mention... you'd be fighting the crowds. That's why you need to have it on hand before a disaster strikes. And you also need to make sure you have the right kind. For a limited time, we're giving you the chance to get this peace of mind for free. (All we ask is that you help cover the shipping.) This is no knockoff or substitute solution. I'm still upset about the USSR bombing and permanently seizing so many countries, which happened within the lifetime of millions and jillions still with us. Guess I'm the only one. _____________________________________________________________ USA! USA! USA! Bringing you democracy, or else! there were strains of VD that were incurable, and they were first found in the Philippines and then transmitted to the Korean working girls via US military. The 'incurables' we were told were first taken back to a military hospital in the Philippines to quietly die. 4um
