Dem Rep: I Didnt Read The DOJ IG Report, But It Clearly Shows The FBI Helped Trump Win
By Alan Moore
Rep. Jerry Nadler (D-NY) made some shocking statements yesterday after the DOJ Inspector General released its report on the handling of the Hillary Clinton email case. There were a number of bombshells in the report which included the referral of five FBI agents for discipline over political messaging. But Nadler seemed to think that everything reported ultimately helped Donald Trump win the election.
Yet, he freely admitted that he didnt even read the report.
Here is exactly what he said, Like Senator Feinstein, Ive only had time to read the executive summary. But after reviewing it, I have two key reactions. First, the decisions described in the report all helped Donald Trump win the election. All the errors were in Trumps favor. When he appeared before the House Judiciary Committee in 2016, in September of 2016, I told Director Comey that he was wrong to treat the two presidential candidates differently.
Speaking at length about the Clinton investigation on several occasions, while refusing to acknowledge even the existence of what we now know was the investigation of the Trump campaign. The report today confirms that we were right to be worried about the double standard. It also confirms that Mr. Comey was absolutely wrong in his decision to publicly reopen the investigation in October. His choice was not, as he often frames it, between silence and disclosure. His choice was between, as the report puts it, following policy/practice and not following policy/practice.

I would like to say that Rep. Nadler has been smoking something strange. But as a member of Congress that would be uncouth of me to say such a thing.
