The socialist revolutionary wants the man who he ambushed to pay up.

Rene Boucher – an avowed Bernie Sanders support and liberal socialist revolutionary – ambushed Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) outside of his own Kentucky home last year. This terrorist attack could have cost Paul his life, as he suffered several broken ribs and pneumonia from the complications of the assault.

U.S. District Judge Marianne Battani – who was nominated to her post by former President Bill Clinton – claimed that the attack was a “dispute between neighbors” and an “isolated incident.” She gave the terrorist a slap on the wrist, repeating his side of the story as if it was canon, and gave him only 30 days in jail for mauling a sitting Senator. The obvious message being sent here is that it is now open season on conservative Republicans, who will no longer have their rights protected in a court of law.

To add insult to injury, Boucher has even filed a countersuit against Paul – who is seeking civil redress for the damages inflicted upon him. Boucher hopes that the civil court will force Paul to pay up because he was allegedly offended by a small debris pile outside of his property lines, which he claims violated the by-laws of the neighborhood’s homeowners association.

According to the complaint filed by Boucher, he wants “all compensatory and punitive damages permitted by law” that he feels he is owed due to the “intentional” behavior of Paul and his family. He claims Paul violated the following portion of the Rivergreen Homeowners Association by-laws: “Each owner shall refrain from any act or use of his Lot which could reasonably cause embarrassment, discomfort, annoyance or nuisance to the neighborhood.”

Sen. Paul’s wife, Kelly, and the Rivergreen Homeowners Association are also named in the lawsuit. Boucher also wants Paul’s civil lawsuit against him to be dismissed by the court.

“Such an order is already in place in federal court, so asking Judge Wilson for the same of similar order doesn’t really seem appropriate,” said Boucher’s attorney Matt Baker to WBKO 13 News.

While it may seem completely ridiculous for a court to force a sitting US senator to pay the man who assaulted and could have killed him, that is exactly what Boucher is hoping to do. If there are enough spiteful liberals who make it onto the jury, Boucher might be able to pull off a second miscarriage of justice – as the rule of law crumbles in the former land of the free.

Your writer agrees with me, at least. Terrorism is what it was, and as long as the Department of Home Insecurity is standing and the War Of Terror rages, justice for Sen. Paul should be a top priority for it -- not fodder for judicial whimsy. Fudge Wilson should be prosecuted, not Randypoo.

Boucher's suit should go nowhere fast before a jury of Kentuckians. Based on accounts by friends who live there, that should be a different story than a girl Fudge apptd by Slick.

Even so this persecution-prosecution and the wave of liberal violence of which Boucher is such an enthusiastic part could have the long-term effect of discouraging good people from running for office -- Dummacrats accomplishing by mafia-style crimes what they can't with elections.

Proving all over again that Dummacrats are just commies in slow motion.

Anybody can sue anybody for anything in civil court. Rules of evidence are looser. Will be interesting if Rand's case goes to trial what he will be able to introduce as evidence.
