I'm always tempted to instigate resistance to those things that impair our freedom or invade our privacy. I see compromise being made by all of us at different levels of participation. Some do D.C.'s dirty work for a pension or health insurance, or some other option that they see as necessary or merely convenient. nuff said ... sorry for the heavy nonsense !

I think Chrissy is a true patriot that got tired of the pettiness involved in the blog, and the negative impact it has on one's mental condition. She is a happy person that is living her life to the fullest and the negatives were cramping her style. (My opinion).

I think she may lurk around here once in awhile.

That pretty well sums it up, if she didn't check in on her birthday, I doubt that she'll ever be back with us.

I don't see where there's any pettiness aside from one nasty jerk and one person that gets mocked by a few others when he posts on a certain subject. This is otherwise one of the friendliest places of its type I know online -- and Gaud knows it didn't use to be.

I found her to be so very nice and unpretentious. I also know that after some rather difficult experiences with some in the "bowel" movement she and Bill decided on a little lower profile ! And good for them. She looks so happy dancing !

Everything you said about her is true, in spades. Several years ago, we used to go a fellow 4um member's hill country property and spend afternoons honing our firearms' skills. What a blast. I miss those times...
