Brer' has been less than honest in his dealings with the people on this forum.

He has falsely attributed quotes, feelings and beliefs to people and then attacked people for for the stawmen that he himself hung on them.

He has mischaracterized material posted by others and then attacked the poster on the basis of this strawman.

In addition, he lacks basic social skills. He seems incapable of participating in rational discussion without resorting to sneers and other nasty tactics. As far as I can see, there has been almost no rational debate out of the guy. As I noted on a thread this evening, he contributes nothing and causes problems.

Should Brer' be tossed out on his butt or should he stay as the troll punching bag for the site?

All input will be appreciated.

I've only read a few of Brer's posts because I realized early on that he's not a serious person. He is dysfunctional, can't face issues, can't face reality. a lot of people are like that in our society. the only thing that troubles me that I've read on this thread is people say he's dishonest and attributes comments to people that they didn't make. The dysfunctionalism is normal. but the dishonesty in attacking people is something that shouldn't be accepted if its done over & over.

it's really sad an internet forum like this needs a monitor. people can't be polite to one another - its incredible.

brer is a fine product of the public schools. its also very sad.

I believe in the power of ignoring posters like Brer'. (He reminded me of another obnoxious poster, Kyle, though he/she/it was more intelligent than Brer'.)

I called him on his violent call to nuke muslims, muslim cities and everyone else who disagree with him, even Christians who didn't agree with his belief that reigning death and destruction down on everyone who didn't see things his way. He never responsed to points or questions, he just ranted hate and violence couched in rah rah america. I figured he was probably a deranged vet who needed a long stay in mental rehab and frankly, if he was serious about what he posted i believe he is dangerous.

Just ranted or ... turned and conducted a personal attack on the other poster.

That was my point. He tosses out a controversial statement that he can't defend. I don't think he expects to be challenged. When it is challenged, he bobs, weaves, conducts personal attacks and does everything except answer the legitimate question raised by his original post. That is trollery in my book.
