Brer' has been less than honest in his dealings with the people on this forum.

He has falsely attributed quotes, feelings and beliefs to people and then attacked people for for the stawmen that he himself hung on them.

He has mischaracterized material posted by others and then attacked the poster on the basis of this strawman.

In addition, he lacks basic social skills. He seems incapable of participating in rational discussion without resorting to sneers and other nasty tactics. As far as I can see, there has been almost no rational debate out of the guy. As I noted on a thread this evening, he contributes nothing and causes problems.

Should Brer' be tossed out on his butt or should he stay as the troll punching bag for the site?

All input will be appreciated.

There is an unwritten rule that says the members of the board must sit passively by and blubber about a troll's rights of free speach when a troll shows up to wreck the board.

Parts of the mission statement on the front page of this site were written to counter this unwritten rule.

I don't know if Brer falls under this or not, but I don't think the owners want to see this place degenerate into a full time feces hurling production. LP and FR would like to see that, but the owners don't.

Me too. I just hope it doesn't become a Feynman/Richard type of thing that goes on forever. Those situations are dangerously addictive because you just can't resist smacking the prick one more time. You keep swearing you'll quit tomorrow and you never do.
