Brer' has been less than honest in his dealings with the people on this forum.

He has falsely attributed quotes, feelings and beliefs to people and then attacked people for for the stawmen that he himself hung on them.

He has mischaracterized material posted by others and then attacked the poster on the basis of this strawman.

In addition, he lacks basic social skills. He seems incapable of participating in rational discussion without resorting to sneers and other nasty tactics. As far as I can see, there has been almost no rational debate out of the guy. As I noted on a thread this evening, he contributes nothing and causes problems.

Should Brer' be tossed out on his butt or should he stay as the troll punching bag for the site?

All input will be appreciated.

Agreed.. some posters like a punching bag.. others get worn out with it.. as I said Im done with insulting posters in such a manner as I've witnessed and this forum in general...enough is enough.

Ive gotten a suggestion re banishment.. this was one suggestion.. any others?? Whatcha think??

1) we should have some kind of zotting ceremony here on 4. Maybe an execution at dawn, offer a final cigarette (laced with mexican feces of course) or maybe something from Havana, a scarf for his peepers ...and voila... c'est no more.

Although BrerRabbit did mention he'd be signing up on 4um and claimed to know christine from his "FR days", THAT BrerRabbit was supposed to send me mail once he made it here. I haven't seen anything yet.

And from the few posts I've seen here by "Brer'", the 4um character "Brer'" doesn't have the same ring to his posts as does the LP BrerRabbit character. Then again, BrerRabbit on LP was a mindless troll when he first signed up, then went through some sort of transformation and appeared to become a "good guy".

I recall that too. His first few posts to me called me many names. I responded in kind one evening, then pretty much blew him/her/it off since. He seems to have a somewhat open mind based on his post of the last few months.

Rabbit on LP. He was an ass at first then started reasoning a bit. I've been here since the site was created but havn't posted too much. First saw Brer here about a month ago. I'm assuming Brer is Brer Rabbit. I havn't seen that Indian before he fired the shot about Brer being banned. Thats what caught my interest initualy.

BrerRabbit seemed to be psycho when I first dealt with him on LP, where he'd launch tirades of expletives on every thread he found me on, and tried to smear me on any thread I hadn't posted on. Then after several months, I hadn't heard from him, and later he started pinging me and tried to be buddies.

I have no problem with today's BrerRabbit. It's the old one that I had some major issues with.
