Positron Dynamics is out to make space travel to distant stars a reality using antimatter. Antimatter is the most energy-dense material known. Positrons are the easiest form of antimatter to produce. With physics that is understood today, any hopes of traveling beyond the edge of the Solar System can only be realized with antimatter. To get there, our first steps lie in Earths orbit.
What's the verdict here, gang? I tho't that if any antimatter was ever produced it would instantly achieve total mass thruout the universe.
I don't know a lot about these things since it is all advance physics. But I do know that when matter and anti-matter meet, they cancel each other out. ;)
Matter and Antimatter meet in a process called annihilation. Both particles will disappear after meeting. The mass of both particles is instantly converted to energy in this reaction. The resultant energy is usually a photon, which is a single particle of light.
