When someone is unarmed, they can be easily overpowered by any predator that has a strength or tenacity advantage. All too often, this means that women are the ones who end up hurt. Sorry, feminists: The reality is that in a male-versus-female fight, the fairer sex has a distinct disadvantage. A gun in the hands of a woman who knows how to use it changes that equation. Suddenly, even the smallest woman can defend herself against an attacker intent on doing her harm … and that’s exactly what happened during a dramatic confrontation caught on camera. On Wednesday, Jason Howerton — the director of engagement at CRTV — shared eye-opening surveillance footage from a would-be home invasion in Florida. The incident happened last year, but it was a local story and most likely missed by many national viewers. “Threatening an armed mom’s children is one of the easiest ways to die,” wrote Howerton. “Well done, mom.” Video from the altercation shows a black male attempting to break down the front door of a home in Miami Gardens. twitter.com/twitter/statuses/1024672170948091906 Inside the house, a mom had two young kids with her … and she wasn’t about to let the intruder win. “The alleged thief didn’t know there was a mother armed with a shotgun on the other side of the door, protecting her two children, ages 3 and 10,” reported WPVI TV. “All of the sudden I hear some banging noise. I thought it was my dreams or something,” the mom — who has a Hispanic accent and asked not to be identified — told the local media. The large man did manage to break down the family’s front door, but was in for a surprise. Instead of an easy target, he found himself staring down the barrel of a shotgun. “I will do anything to protect my family,” the woman said. “(The kids) were screaming and crying hysterically, because they were afraid of anything happening,” she continued. If any harm was going to come to them, the intruder would have to get through a well-armed mother first — and he knew it. The perpetrator quickly fled as fast as his legs could carry him, making a bee-line for a stolen Mercedes that served as his getaway vehicle. “He was running for his life and he kept looking back making sure I wasn’t going to just shoot him in the back,” said the mother. At the time that the incident was reported by Florida media sources last year, the suspect had not been identified, but without a doubt re-thought his plans after having his life flash before his eyes at gunpoint. It’s a Second Amendment story that will no doubt be ignored by anti-gun liberals: Without even firing a shot, a mother was able to protect her home, herself and her two young children. Nobody knows for sure what would have happened if the invader would have continued his crime spree, but it could have turned into a tragic nightmare if this mother hadn’t had the right to defend herself, and a “great equalizer” shotgun in her bedroom. This guy was supposed to have been breaking a random door down in a "partmint building" in broad daylight while driving a stolen Mercedes,and we are supposed to believe he and she didn't know each other? I ain't buying it. I am NOT saying they were co-criminals or that she had ever broken any laws,but I am saying they knew each other. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ In the entire history of the world,the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.
