The people of CA have brought this on themselves. They elected the people that allowed this. I lived in CA form 1975 until 1987: I saw the start of the decline then. Tax the people give them what they wanted. The death blow was Porp 13, in the mid 1970's. I know people living in CA, in $300,000 homes and paying less that $5,000 in prop taxes

And oddly enough,the most likely buyer will be a contractor that has connections to the local and state government,who wants to build welfare housing under government contract for Dim voters to live in.

And what is the contractor going to do with the house? Tear it down or split it into smaller units that can be rented out under government assisted rental programs such as operates in Chicago area? ;)

Bulldoze them flat to make room for multiple-story welfare cribs. THAT's where the REAL money is. You wouldn't believe some of the corners they cut in construction unless you have been a carpenter,electrician,or plumber on a site. Walls with only 1 2x4 in the middle and one at each end,a nail in each end and the middle at the tops and bottoms,etc,etc,etc. You can bet your ass they are collecting the money for doing it to specs,though.
