Pro-Trump Activists Strike Back Hard In Hollywood After Trump’s Star Was Defaced A group of artists struck back at the destruction of President Donald Trump’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame by replacing it with several dozen replicas, the Blaze reported.
The artists call themselves “The Faction,” and they fabricated several dozen reproductions of the president’s destroyed star on the celebrity Hollywood Walk of Fame.
One of the artists spoke anonymously to the Hollywood Reporter about how and why they did it. “Rip up the president’s Walk of Fame star or try to have it removed,” he said, “like you’re the mayor of West Hollywood or something — and 30 more will pop up.” The Blaze reported: “[the artist] said they printed stars on floor vinyl, and covered the stars while they were being installed in order to avoid being attacked by any detractors. There has been at least one violent brawl near the star aimed at supporters of the president.” “I didn’t want to get hit over the head from behind. We thought Trump Derangement Syndrome was a joke, but I’m pretty sure it’s real,” the artist continued.
“If no one peels these off, they could last there for 10 years,” he said. The artist stated that it was in response to both the vote by the Hollywood City Council to remove the star and also in response to critics of the president destroying the star.

Although the LA city council voted to have the star removed, the move is mainly symbolic as they have no power to have it removed. There has never been a star removed from the Walk of Fame.
