Cambodia

I knew a guy in Illinois who was in the invasion of Cambodia in the Parrot's Beak region. He always carried extra frags.

He told me at night they would camp off the trail and set up Claymore mines along the trail.

One night an NVA patrol came thru and the guy on the switch for the Claymore's was asleep. He started throwing frags.

He was awarded a South Vietnamese medal for killing Communists but he never picked it up. ;)
