Brad Smith a retired Navy Pilot remembers John McCain in the 'Hanoi Hilton' Part 1

I have a book titled, "Tragedy and Hope The History of the World in Our Time" by Carroll Quigley. Quigley was an intelligence agent during WW II. At the end of the war he was at a Navy base on Guam. Guam is where the guns were in storage for an invasion of Japan, which never went off since they dropped the nukes on them. Two ships set sail and Quigley asked the Harbor Master where they were headed. He replied, "One is going to Pyongyang, the other to Haiphong." They were sending them the guns to start the next two wars.
