Michael Hill (League of the South) Sun, Sep 30, 2018 | 796 words 2,859 177 24 Since I wrote the post below for this website last week, we have been the focus of a campaign by the left to castigate us for daring to state that Southerners look upon Russia and the Russian people as potential friends and allies rather than as enemies. We think it curious that when Russia was in the clutches of the Judeo-Bolsheviks and was responsible for the Holodomor and other atrocities that killed well over 100 million people in the previous century, it was seen as a force for “progress” by Jews and their goyim allies. But now that Russia has abandoned Communism and re-embraced its Christian and national heritage, it has fallen out of favor with the Left. And this is understandable when you consider that the globalist Left abhors both Christianity and nationalism. To Our Russian Friends 17 July 2018 We soon will be introducing a Russian language section to the official website of The League of the South. We will encourage our Russian friends to explore our organization and ideas regarding Southern nationalism, a free and independent South, and our views of the world in general. We understand that the Russian people and Southerners are natural allies in blood, culture, and religion. As fellow Whites of northern European extraction, we come from the same general gene pool. As inheritors of the European cultural tradition, we share similar values, customs, and ways of life. And as Christians, we worship the same Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and our common faith binds us as brothers and sisters. We Southerners believe in societies based on real, organic factors such as shared blood, culture, and religion, and all that stems naturally from these salient factors in the human experience. As fellow White Christians who are grounded in the sublime traditions of our common European cultural heritage, we believe that the Russian people and the Southern people are natural allies against the destructive and impersonal impulses of globalism. We ought to encourage closer ties between our two peoples and between those who represent our interests in all phases of life, including government, business, education, the arts, and other areas. Moreover, we should seek peace and goodwill between our peoples as the foundation for all our cooperative efforts. There are many threats in the world today facing both of our peoples, from Islamic terrorism, a decreasing White birthrate, mass Third World immigration, and the machinations of hostile international institutions whose interests and actions are inimical to our common concerns and well-being as White Christians. A firm and resolute understanding and commitment to cooperation between the Russian people and the people of the South could indeed be the foundation for a better world in which our peoples thrive and prosper far into the future. But should we fail to take advantage of the climate of increasing trust and friendship between us, there are forces that would like to pit us against one another, ever as far as open war. We must oppose those forces with a combined will and commitment to peace and cooperation between our two peoples. Together, we can assure that the world for our posterity is a bright and secure one. Let us start on that journey of mutual cooperation today. Our Russian language section of this website will be our first step in this direction. We hope to hear from our Russian friends soon. May the God of our Fathers bless our efforts to preserve our peoples and their shared faith and culture. Michael Hill Besides being the subject of articles such as this one linked below, The League has received numerous phone calls and emails from what can only be called hysterical and historically ignorant people telling us that we are “stupid” for wishing to engage with “Communists” (Russia now, of course, is not Communist), that we are anti-American for seeking good relations with an historic enemy, and that we must be readying ourselves to fight the “Civil War” all over again and that we will be beaten down yet once more, despite our “desperate” attempt to find a Russian ally. What these unhinged responses tell us is simple: that we have hit a big nerve on the Left. They indeed fear good relations between the Russian and Southern people (and the American people in general) and that such a detente might actually result in peace and cooperation between two of the world’s largest and most powerful White nations (meaning discrete people groups). It is our opinion that the Left would prefer another “brothers’ war” in which White men slaughtered each other by the millions. We will do all we can to prevent such a tragedy from ever occurring again.
