We worked The Highwaymen in Chicago in 1985. I was personal security for Johnny Cash during the meet and greet after the show. It was right outside the entrance to the dressing rooms.
They told me to follow Kris Kristofferson out of the building to make sure nobody messed with him. He went up the stairs and I went up after him. When he got to the top landing he turned and looked at me. I told him what they told me, so he turned and kept going. ;)
