We have embarked on a number of activities aimed at strengthening the air defense systems of the Syrian Arab Republic in order to ensure better protection for our military personnel. We have completed the delivery of S-300 complexes. This includes 49 pieces of equipment: illuminating laser radiolocators, defense priority systems, control vehicles and four missile launchers. PressTV-Russia using biggest military planes to give Syria S-300 Russia is reportedly delivering advanced S-300 anti-aircraft missile defense systems to Syria using the world's largest military transport aircraft. The announcement came in the wake of the accidental downing of an Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft with 15 servicemen on board by Syrias S-200 air defense systems which were at the time responding to a wave of Israeli strikes on state institutions in Latakia. Moscow held Israel responsible for the September 17 incident, saying the regimes pilots had intentionally used the Russian plane as cover to conduct air raids, effectively putting it in the cross hairs of the Syrian air defenses. On Friday, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov confirmed that Russia had begun delivering the S-300 surface-to-air missile system to Syria. The delivery started already and as President (Vladimir) Putin said, after that [downing] incident ... the measures that we will take will be devoted to ensuring 100 percent safety and security of our men, he told a news conference at the United Nations. Tatarewicz... Going along with the SAM embargo call from the duplicitous, Zionist-controlled West was a strategic mistake on the part of Putin since the 300's are defensive. Gangadian> (We?) Since 2011... The only way to break the yoke of European and American colonialism is to stand on your feet and become self-sufficient
We never forget the games played by Russia not delivering the S-300 system to Iran although she had signed the contract and had received the money. We never forget that Syria was being bombed constantly by Israel, US, UK, and France, and still Russia refused to sell S-300 system to Syria. We never forget that Russia had agreed to sell S-400 to Saudis, to the most reactionary and the most submissive entity to British and US colonialism. We never forget that Russia agreed to sell S-400 to Turkey, a NATO member and a conduit of funds, military training, and weapons to the terrorists on behalf of the most reactionary Persian Gulf British made littoral entities. TAXCOLLECTOR2017> 2011 this door opened and it's not going to close ever again. Funny how ironic history reveals itself. I just saw a report on Norway and the US conducting Military "Drills". The US has been building up in Norway for a few years. sort of quietly til now. Some say January. Probably will be. They have been outfitted with cold weather combat gear and are committed there for 5 years. Doesn't sound much like a drill. This has just begun...
According to Israel, it is irresponsible for a country to defend themselves against Israel's military aggression. Israel can defend itself by not attacking Syria.
