Over the last several days, I have published comments referring to me as a "demon," women who get abortions as "whores" who deserve to die, a post saying that women who get abortions should be put into wood chippers outside abortion clinics, and so on. I've received emails telling me that I should get cancer and die, that I should have the FBI raid my house, that someone should knife me into small pieces. And you know what conservatives kept pumping into my little inbox? Little missives in the comments that whined: "You only publish comments you agree with so YOU'LL CLEARLY NEVER PUBLISH MINE." This, after I have taken care to publish all disagreeing comments as long as they were not direct threats against myself or my readers. Well, you know what? My blog, my rules. It is currently about 10:45 PM, Central Time, on Thursday, March 16. Until now, my policy has been pretty nice about even the most vile commenters. Henceforth, write a post that says ONE ad hominem attack or includes ONE point I have already addressed as if I haven't addressed it...and you won't be posted. If you feel like this is censorship, remember: you still have the freedom to Get Your Own Blog. Whine about it ALL YOU WANT in your. own. blog. Anyone else referring to women as "skanks," "whores" or saying ANY variant of "keep her legs shut" unless they are absolutely and clearly in jest? You will not be tolerated. Anyone else who feels like lobbing death threats into my inbox? Neither will you. I got one person fired last week for threatening me, and I'm not afraid to do the same for the next asshole who sends a direct threat to my email address. If you feel like you want to respectfully disagree and have a discussion, hurray! Please post. Please talk about things. I love debate. But threats are not debate, and neither is calling the vast majority of the female population "whores." Oh, and one more thing. If you bring up God as part of the answer to any political question -- like the legality of abortion, which is a political matter, not a religious one (if it was religious, it would be PERSONAL) -- you won't get posted, either. You're either trying to conflate political arguments with moral arguments, which I hate, or you're trying to say that religion and laws should get real intimate -- and I hate that even more. Playtime is over, fuckers. You want to go around calling women whores? Find your own kind at Free Republic or some other place where dickwads like you hang out. From now on, this blog is Feminist Friendly, and any comments that aren't will be screened out. Censorship? Not unless I brought blogging under government control and was the only way to disseminate information. I think you'll all agree, I haven't done that. Yet. UPDATE: Less than five minutes after posting this -- in case anyone thinks I'm exaggerating -- I received this in my inbox and several others with very close verbiage to it. You are a fucking sicko. When you die, you will find yourself burning in the deepest depths of hell. Being Satan's chewing gum next to Hitler and Judas will be nice, won't it? And I'm no fucking conservative. The day a woman kills her baby with your procedure will be the day you are damned, you pagan bitch. Man, I can't believe I'd censor perfectly good comments like that one. Can you?

Is my support of mandatory sterilization of human scum sinful?
In theory it might be ok. But in reality what if you steralize someone who shouldn't be. I do support the death penalty for women who are proved to have abortions though. No post facto law, but new cases. Does that make me a male chauvenist pig?
How about for the men who knocked them up and left?
They are a problem too, no doubt. I don't think they should get the death penalty unless they encouraged the woman to get one. They should be responsible for supporting the child until the child reaches the age of majority.
