Elizabeth Warren claimed she was a minority “Native American” to get ahead in her career. Elizabeth ‘Pocahontas’ Warren released a DNA study today that claims she is 1/512th Native American. The Fauxcahontas folly began to fall apart quickly when the Boston Globe had to make an embarrassing correction. The DNA test revealed that Elizabeth Warren is not 1/512 Native American, she’s 1/1,024. That’s 0.0009765625.

I don't think I have a lick of Injun blood in me. Both of my parents have their roots in western Europe. ;)
So did the parents of most of the original people that came to be known as "American Indians". They came over the Bering Strait when it was iced over. Or most did. Some came from Asia. Here is a link some of you may find interesting.
They came over the Bering Strait when it was iced over. The other side of the Bering Strait is Asia, not Europe. The Russians discovered Alaska and when William H. Seward signed a treaty with the Russians to purchase Alaska in 1867 he was ridiculed widely. ;)
It wasn't a Strait when it was iced over,and scientists called it a "land bridge from Europe", Most (all?) of the Asians that came to North America back then came by boats. Many still do,but airplanes are the preferred travel method today. BTW,I am 1/4 Tuscarora,a offshoot of the Mowhawk tribe. Not that it really matters or that it gives me any insights others don't have.
Just out of curiosity, how do you know that? I'm 3/8 Winnebago (Sioux) from my mother. And no, I don't own an RV.
I have the birth,marriage,and death records of my grandmother,including a photo. I also personally know and talked with people who knew her,and grew up with my mother. My grandfather was Scots-Irish. My father was Greek.
Thanks. My mother was born and raised on the reservation and somehow escaped it to become a Navy nurse and officer. She took care of my father when he had some sort of illness and they fell in love and here I am.
