After 6 months of travelling this year and spending the other 6 months living in the gunshine state of Florida, the last thing I would have expected from a sleepy little hollow in the suburbs of Canada was a home invasion that would end up leaving me with clothing as my only possession and my dad's Honda Element being stolen and used in two counts of first degree murder.
While I have spent the year travelling and avoiding unsafe places this is the last place on earth that I thought I would see my life fall to pieces in a matter of moments.
