Jeff Sessions, the bull dog, turned out to be a big disappointment. Now he is leaving in disgrace. The new AG will be going after the people who can be held accountable for their inexcusable behavior. The swamp will be drained soon enough. ;)
Trump has been the bright spot in politics in my lifetime (maybe Kennedy too). That being said, Trump wasted no time after the elections in removing Sessions and appointing an interim prosecutor so it appears he is serious about doing something about the do-nothingness of Sessions.
D.C. politics is a very complex blackmail system and those of us living outside the beltway have little understanding of those machinations. Look what they did to Kavanaugh ... is the new AG a choir boy ? I doubt it.
The GOOD BOOK says that "a house divided cannot stand" and we are in danger of a (un) civil war breaking out.
Now Michelle Obama has entered the fray by writing a book that demeans the current resident of the OVAL OFFICE. These people are like deranged, blood-sucking Vampires that cannot see their own reflections in the mirror.
In closing I'd say the bright spot is the number of minorities recognizing that Trump's agenda is open and available to everyone that is an American without racial considerations at all. What seems to me that darkens the bright spot is that it appears that some people simply align themselves with people and statements made that they have never investigated. The consequences of apathy and ignorance among Americans is a very serious danger.
