There is nothing quite like breathing new life into a desktop or laptop that’s been sitting in the closet or basement, collecting dust.

Linux has always had the potential to do this. But MX Linux takes it a step further and brings a brand new OS about as close to a Windows environment as you could ask for, at zero cost.

In fact, if you’re looking at buying a new computer, you could save a small fortune by buying one without any OS installed. Simply install MX Linux to get a lightning-fast computer without the learning curve of taking on an entirely new OS.

Well, that video is for shit advertising. I'll see what Y'tube has.

Thanks for the lead.

In my opinion Linux Mint is the best. Easy to use and as easy to learn as it gets.

I was thinking of Linux Mint. Do they have software available for editing YouTube Videos?

I guess they do but couldn't swear to it. I have never done anything with YouTube videos other than adding subtitles and there was an online app for that. But I haven't done that for a long time.

I started using Linux in 2005 and except for a short stint where I had no choice but Windows have been using it ever since. Have used several different versions but mint is the one I like best and have used the longest.

Needless to say I could be better but I imagine
most people (especially people our age) could
say that.
