These two maps show clearly why the Demonrat Party is pro-open borders and pro-illegal immigration. Map No. 1, on the estimated percentage of “undocumented immigrants” in the United States, is from the Washington Post, February 9, 2017: Map No. 2, on the outcome of the 2016 election by voting precincts, is from the New York Times:

Commiecrats have long been moving methodically to sieze control of our southern borders, our coastlines and other major waterways, like the Mississippi River and the Great Lakes, as well as voting districts and elections. The so-called "Rumsfeld Revolution" closed down some Military bases near our waterways that ought to have stayed open for guard duty, imo.

One of their election-rigging methods [examples at the redstate.com link below]:

[State-level] Secretary of State Project - Wikipedia

Formed in the fall of 2006 ... focused on electing reform-minded progressive Secretaries of State in battleground states, who typically oversee the election process. ... After 2010, the Project
had [seemingly] disappeared.

Don't let Soros and the "Secretary of State Project" take over your state - redstate.com | April 21, 2010

[w/Fox News sources]

Some of the most overlooked and ultra important positions in this state are those who run the elections. Those are the County Clerk, Township/City Clerk, and the Secretary of State’s office. It takes the work of these offices and their staffs to run the elections and make sure the process is above board, competent, and with integrity. ... Foxnews:

Since 2006 the Democracy Alliance, a left leaning influence group funded by George Soros among others, has had remarkable success in targeting and claiming Secretary of State’s offices in 11 of 13 critical states they targeted, including Ohio, Minnesota and Iowa.

Called the Secretary of State Project (SOSP) its aim is to target and capture the obscure, often overlooked office and implement election rules changes that give democrats a better chance of winning a plurality. Among those changes that SOSP calls “election protection,” are a loosening of voter registration requirements and a lessening of efforts to prevent fraudulent voting, according to Matthew Vadum, a political analyst with the Capitol Research Center.

‘The thing that is amazing is that they can get the office for as little $100,000 in campaign funding because no one pays attention to it, and they get to control election opportunities in a state.

The exciting war to make secretaries of state more boring - ivoteforamerica.org | February 20, 2014
ivoteforamerica.org/the_exciting_war_to_make_secretaries_of_state_more_boring

[Washington Post article]

On Thursday, a new voting-rights campaign called iVote launched, and it plans to target its resources at secretary of state races

Most secretaries of state are elected or appointed by the governor, which means the party affiliation of a state's chief election officer often sways with the party affiliation of the state's elected leaders.

a group called the Secretary of State project [SOSP] appeared, determined to flip election management back to Democrats in states like Minnesota, Colorado, and Ohio. ... The project worked well -- mostly due to the fact that secretary of state races usually aren't expensive affairs and a little money can go a long way. The project raised $500,000 in 2006 -- a year when Democrats won secretary of state elections in many of the places targeted by the group. ... But in 2010, the group disappeared. ... And now, we have three new outside groups chiming in on secretary of state races, [1. iVote -- 2. SoS (Secretary of State) for Democracy -- and 3. SOS for SoS (Secretary of State)]

As Steve Rosenthal, one of the founders of SoS for Democracy, notes, "Their powers often include controlling the certification of names of candidates on the ballot and ballot proposals/initiatives, maintaining the lists of registered voters in their state, overseeing voter registration procedures, conducting recounts, overseeing the testing and implementation of voting machines, as well as certifying and registering campaign expenditure reports by both candidates and outside groups. "

Which is why these outside groups are so eager to have a say in who will hold this power in crucial swing states. ... “I have concerns that this is going to increase the politicization of the office of the secretary of state," [Wendy] Weiser [Ref.] said of the new groups. "The emphasis is in the wrong direction, away from increasing the professionalization of election administration.”
