Fox News: Indian authorities were struggling Thursday to figure out how to recover the body of an American who was killed after wading ashore on an island cut off from the modern world. John Allen Chau was killed last week by North Sentinel islanders who apparently shot him with arrows and then buried his body on the beach, police say. But even officials don’t travel to North Sentinel, where people live as their ancestors did thousands of years ago, and where outsiders are seen with suspicion and attacked. “It’s a difficult proposition,” said Dependera Pathak, director-general of police on India’s Andaman and Nicobar Islands, where North Sentinel is located. “We have to see what is possible, taking utmost care of the sensitivity of the group and the legal requirements.” Police are consulting anthropologists, tribal welfare experts and scholars to figure out a way to recover the body, he said. While visits to the island are heavily restricted, Chau paid fishermen last week to take him near North Sentinel, using a kayak to paddle to shore and bringing gifts including a football and fish. It was “a foolish adventure,” said P.C. Joshi, an anthropology professor at Delhi University who has studied the islands. “He invited that aggression.” Yeah, it certainly seems that way. If there’s a Chinese Jesus, he’s not very good at his job. I invite aggression constantly – it is literally my job – and White Jesus is always just like “no worries bro, I gotcha.” After reading this story, I’m wondering if there even is a Chinese Jesus. Joshi noted that the visit not only risked Chau’s life, but also the lives of islanders who have little resistance to many diseases. “They are not immune to anything. A simple thing like flu can kill them,” he said. Maybe Chinese Jesus commanded him to exterminate these tribesman with disease and football injuries and claim the land for greater China? On his first day Chau interacted with some tribesmen – who survive by hunting, fishing and collecting wild plants – until they became angry and shot an arrow at him. The 26-year-old self-styled adventurer and Christian missionary then swam back to the fishermen’s boat waiting at a safe distance. That night, he wrote about his visit and left his notes with the fishermen. He returned to North Sentinel the next day, Nov. 16. What happened then isn’t known, but on the morning of the following day, the fishermen watched from the boat as tribesmen dragged Chau’s body along the beach and buried his remains. Pathak said seven people have been arrested for helping Chau, including five fishermen, a friend of Chau’s and a local tourist guide. Chau was apparently shot and killed by arrows, but the cause of death can’t be confirmed until his body is recovered, Pathak said. In days gone by, this Chinaman would have been approaching that island in a merchant ship to trade with the natives. Except he wouldn’t be doing that, because he would already know they were primitives with nothing to trade by talking to mainlanders. Now, it’s a bizarre American news item about an “American” Chinaman attempting to spread rainbow homosexualist “Christianity” to tree-dwellers on a remote island. Seriously, what even is this? There is nothing more disgustingly self-aggrandizing than the modern Christian missionary. These people literally go to primitive tribes and build little huts they call churches and tell the primitives that they’ll get magic powers if they abandon whatever voodoo they believe in instead adopt a foreign religion that they have no understanding of. It causes social disfunction among the primitives, and serves no clear purpose whatsoever. Even if you believed that Christianity was for people other than whites – which doesn’t make any sense, because the entire concept of the religion is personal redemption by overcoming the physical realm, and nonwhites have no conception of anything beyond the physical – taking it to these illiterate jungle tribespeople is supposed to accomplish what? Their souls are going to be saved even though they can’t grasp any aspect of the basic doctrine of the faith? It’s really just a gigantic money scam. These churches solicit donations for these “missionary trips” then pay some young Chinese adventurer’s travel costs to go take pictures of a hut and naked tribesman kicking a football. Christianity has become so devoid of any meaning that no one of any integrity is able to be a part of it. Pastors are literally bribed to not talk about politics, but they promote homosexuality, mass immigration and interracial marriage. Also… it’s not actually impossible that this guy was on some kind of Chinese spy mission, they are doing all this development in the region. Either way, what I said above stands.
