Good evening, I’m still reporting on: Life After Google – George Gilder on Mark Levin, 2456
Synopsis: Wow! Mark Levin has done it again. Tonight on Life, Liberty & Levin, he had on George Gilder, economist, fund manager, and author of a new book, Life After Google.
As the title implies, by merely being a monopoly and acting like one, Google is dooming its future. Gilder predicts that ten years from now, Google will not even be in the top 10 companies by market cap.
He also says that the whole blockchain economy will eventually create a decentralized, non-manipulatable money of the future. I hope he’s right, however, this first year on the Chicago Merchantile Exchange has certainly been one of total manipulation for Bitcoin.
He also predicts a bright future for the United States. One reason is that he believes capitalism will eventually win out over socialism.
He also introduces an interesting concept that machines – specifically AI, or artificial intelligence – will never out-perform human beings. Why? Because of the creativity factor innate to human beings.
