Who is Your Favorite TOS Bot?
Post favorite quote, and if you don't have one, favorite bot - and why?
I'm curious about what is effective and what is not.
I like Ghost of Quantrill. He's the master at pulling looney communist comspiracies out of the most mundane day to day events. Pimple comes up on his ass? Commies obviously sprinkled pimple germs on the toilet seat down at the adult book store.
I don't think Casper is a bot more than just an asshole. But he is one my favorite TOS2 clowns to slap around when I need to let off some steam.
Becky Sauders gets my vote as the most likely to go utterly postal. Gloomy, weird, miserable personality. Buch of kids will cut through his yard someday and he'll be up in the church steeple with a mauser -- until the SWAT team takes him out.

Becky really is one of the chief nut-burgers in TOS land. If only the voices would leave him alone long enough to take a nap.
I have to think that some of that crew does a lot more harm than good.
You don't need to preach to angry, bitter, white, fundie Christian males with an exaggerated sense of victimhood -- the only people who give Becky, Ghost, RussCon, etc the time of day.
But intelligent moderates, the people outside the 20% - 25% lunatic fringe, are really turned off by these types of guys.
I say 20% to 25% instead of 33% because there is a demographic, dumb as a rock, that will support government policy no matter what.

It is for the benefit of this group that Limbaugh smokes cigars. Keeps them from feeling so bad about being the last smoker on the block.

I recall that a few years ago there was a minor dust up when was caught refering to his listeners as "idiots" but I can't remember the exact context of it. I believe he brushed it off as just being a sarcastic pajorative, or something like that. But, at least IMO, his "respect" for his audience ends with their capacity to make him richer.
