Arrested the CFO of Chinas biggest cellphone company at a Canadian airport. BBC: Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says his government had no involvement in the arrest of a top executive from Chinese telecoms giant Huawei. Meng Wanzhou, Huaweis chief financial officer and the daughter of its founder, was detained at Vancouver airport on a US extradition request. China has demanded her release, calling the arrest a human rights violation. The charges have not been made public. Huawei said it was not aware of any wrongdoing by Ms Meng. She faces a bail hearing on Friday. The arrest comes at a sensitive time for US-China relations. The nations are locked in a trade war that has seen both impose duties on billions of dollars of one anothers goods. Ms Meng was detained on Saturday, the same day US President Donald Trump and Chinas President Xi Jinping met at the G20 summit in Argentina and later reached a temporary truce in their trade battle. But the arrest has angered China and threatens to inflame tensions with the US. Earlier reports suggested that Ms Mengs arrest could be related to a US investigation into a possible violation of sanctions against Iran. US National Security Adviser John Bolton declined to comment on this when questioned by journalists. Instead he said that generally speaking he had enormous concerns over Chinese firms business practices and their possible operations as arms of the government. There is no way in hell Trump ordered this. You dont negotiate with a country by offering them a truce then kidnapping a high profile businessman. She is the daughter of the founder of Huawei, which is the biggest tech company in China. It is the worlds biggest manufacturer of telecommunications equipment and the second biggest cellphone manufacturer in the world, behind Samsung (yes, ahead of Apple). Kidnapping this woman is a dastardly, devious act that in the current world climate can only be viewed as an attack on Trumps attempts to negotiate a trade deal with China. There is no other reason anyone would do something like this. Especially not in this way if it really is some major Iran problem, then they would announce that immediately. This is the people who actually run the government once again announcing to the world that Trump does not run the government. And of course, Trump doesnt want to come out and say actually, I dont even run my own government, sorry, so instead hes forced to just go along with this stuff. Its the same deal as sending a warship into Russian waters Trump obviously doesnt want that to happen, but his only choice is to come out and publicly admit that he doesnt control his own military and commander-in-chief is just a totally meaningless title. Why would Canada do this?? NAFTA 2.0 - Canada and the Trumpian Zios are kosher again. We, i.e., John Bolton, asked them to.
It's just toadying to the Zionists who don't want anyone dealing with Iran. Politicians, especially in US and Canada, depend on Jews and their media for success in elections.
It sets a precedent which could easily lead to escalation. That's maybe the point. What gives the US government the right to dictate to other countries who they deal with??? This is going to be a big mistake. PLUS people in the US of A wonder why the US is so hated around the world.
