President Donald Trump invoked Ronald Reagan’s name as he vowed to get funding for a wall on the southern border “one way or the other.”

His comments came in a Friday morning Twitter posting – part of a presidential tweetstorm that focused on border security and a possible government shutdown.

Trump wrote: “Even President Ronald Reagan tried for 8 years to build a Border Wall, or Fence, and was unable to do so. Others also have tried. We will get it done, one way or the other!”

Reagan did not even talk about a wall, Tramp, sorry Trump is lying. PLUS: Reagan is the one who push the "Path to citizenship", Reagan said that there is only about 300,000 who need it. Within two years after Reagan signed the law, 2,000,000 plus people applied for and got citizenship.

One time when working for State of Illinois, I was out on a snow route on Illinois 59. There was a Mexican walking down the center of the road and he was heading south. When he got to Illinois 72, he was looking around like he was lost.

I stopped and asked where he was going. He said, "Barrington". He said, "Cuidad Barrington?" He said, "Si". I said while pointing, "It's the other way." He looked dejected. So I motioned him to come around the other side of the truck. I gave him a ride.

Before I dropped him off he made an upward motion with his hand while saying, "Huerta! Huerta!" I asked a Mexican if he knew what the meant. He told me if he made that upward motion with his hand it was a high compliment.

I saved him a 5 mile walk in the snow and cold, much of it uphill. I'll be he was a wetback too. ;)
