Great song - one of my favorite trucking/road trip songs. Tom Petty did a nice version with his pre-Heartbreakers band Mudcrutch. Steve Earle does a fine cover as well. There must be a hundred versions of the song - the "sanitized" version by Sawyer Brown is pretty lame though. They changed the lyrics from I'm takin' little white pills and my eyes are open wide to I'm passing little white lines and my eyes are open wide During times of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes a revolutionary act.
