The fact that this will be considered "offensive" to some speaks volumes about our world. If you unfollow me (or get angry at me) over what I have to say here, please know I still wish you peace, freedom, and happiness. :)
Why I'm finally speaking out against the world's most dangerous religion
Very interesting, but the title was a bit "Click-Baity." I wouldn't exactly define "Statism" as a religion, but rather, more of a culture that dovetails quite nicely with our current "Culture of Alarmism and Victimhood."
I saw a very disturbing logo on a sweatshirt today worn by a young woman (I normally would've said "gal" but that descriptor is verboten as "offensive" now. Anyway, the shirt had 4 badges across the top, police, medic, firefighter, and something else I didn't catch.
The caption below read something like, "Different Branches - One Fight". WTF? The people that I'm forced to involuntarily pay way too much money to every year, want to fight me because I don't receive a government paycheck?
That is an extraordinarily disturbing mindset to me. It literally made me cringe. I'd never have the stones (or be stupid enough) to wear something that wrong in public. Totally 'effed up!
I'll be starting my 7th decade next year. By God (Odin), the pendulum can't swing back to nominal soon enough. I don't want to die in a country like this one where using common courtesy, like calling a nice woman Ma'am, is considered offensive.
On a lighter note, I saw an absolutely gorgeous GAL in a movie on EweToob last night. The movie was "Born to Race" (1988). Oh crap! That was 31 years ago, she's probably just a tired old lady now. Ah hell, I'm just an old geezer too.
