I know it. My ex-codriver's Daddy moved to Checotah, Oklahoma in the 1930's. It was a boom town because of the oil and there was one killing a week.
They checked some of those old wells in Oklahoma and Texas they thought were pumped out and found oil in them again. This leads to the conclusion oil is a renewable resource that wells up from deep within the Earth. ;)
