Beethoven originally dedicated the third symphony to Napoleon Bonaparte, who he believed embodied the democratic and anti-monarchical ideals of the French Revolution. In autumn of 1804, Beethoven withdrew his dedication of the third symphony to Napoleon, lest it cost him the composer's fee paid him by a noble patron; so, Beethoven re-dedicated his third symphony to Prince Joseph Franz Maximilian Lobkowitz – nonetheless, despite such a bread-and-butter consideration, the politically idealistic Beethoven titled the work "Buonaparte"

When I work for the fag florist making deliveries, the designers were big on symphonies and played them all the time in back of the shop where they would put together flower pieces.

One time I was playing country music and the boss said it was the worst music this side of Nashville. ROTFLOL

I just thought to mention that I heard there was a stabbing in Carol's Pub last year. That joint was about 2 blocks from where I went to Grade School.

One night I was in there and 2 black guys walked in and tried to buy beer with the old paper food stamps. The bartender hollered, "Get the hell out of here!"

One of the blacks started to shoot off his mouth. The doorman was this stocky little guy with a beard and biker chain for a belt. He knocked that guy out with one punch in the head. The other one ran for the door. He hit him in the back of the head. He fell up against the doorknob and they threw them both out in the street. ROTFLOL
