As you know, millions of dollars worth of investigation were never able to prove that Saddam had WMD before the war. In desperation Bush has now released several huge crates of unverified Arabic documents to the FR moonbats in an effort to help the moonbats create a new meme: There really were WMD in Iraq - but an evil and elaborate conspiracy is hiding this fact. Moonbat blogs are now screaming that Bush was right all along. Many of these I wrote myself. I am now posting them in LP breaking news as "proof" of this "new" revelation. The average sheep isn't going to notice that the blogs never mention which document proves Bush correct or why this document is to be believed in the first place. The object is to start a meme, not to prove anything rationally. And guess what? The moonbats are managing to convince themselves that they were right all along. The new battle cry is "Documents prove there were WMD in Iraq". Never mind nobody knows which document anybody is talking about, whether or not the document was accurately translated or whether or not the document is even real. Never mind that is there was a shred of credibility to this, Bush and Cheney would be up on the roof screaming it out to the world. The fact that they are not doing this is in fact proof that they are worried about getting gaffed were the ruse to be closely investigated. This is no doubt why they are delegating the release of the revelation to the ultimate rumor mill. Anybody who asks the forbidden question is of course an commie who hates America. The forbidden question being: Would a desperate and failing President, who is already pegged as a liar by a proven majority of Americans, slip a couple of questionable documents in with the others in an effort to keep even more rubes from fleeing the pack?
