Chemotherapy could allow cancer to spread, and trigger more aggressive tumours, a new study suggests.

Researchers in the US studied the impact of drugs on patients with breast cancer and found medication increases the chance of cancer cells migrating to other parts of the body, where they are almost always lethal.

Around 55,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer in Britain every year and 11,000 will die from their illness.

Many are given chemotherapy before surgery, but the new research suggests that, although it shrinks tumours in the short term, it could trigger the spread of cancer cells around the body.

One of the best friends I ever had bought a '73 Mercury Cougar as a first car when we were all like 15/16 years old. After he got it home, I poked my finger through a big rust spot above the right rear wheel, he was pissy for a minute but came to understand that piece of metal would have fallen out on its own after three months.

Sounds right, and at that price it didn't take your friend very long to get his money's worth and more, out of it.

He actually held on to it for a couple years and got a job delivering pizza. We were all nuts as kids. At best a 351/C 2-barrell in a 3400lb car is going to get 14mpg.

When I was yall's age, we could get sleds all day long for $50-100, gas was $0.20 and I can't remember if we knew what MPG stood for; but the best thing was that we were able to wrench them ourselves and keep'em going.

And, yes, we were nuts also; isn't everyone at that age?

Was he related to Alan Jackson?

BTW, Alan Jackson subbed for Ricky Van Shelton at the World Music Theater in Tinley Park, Illinois. He put on such a great show they gave him a standing ovation. ;)

And now, here's the version before Hollywood ever heard this song: :)

I like KC, that was smooth.

Except for the new paint, interior, and engine/exhaust work, this is what I drove in HS. It had 30K miles when our family got in 1960 from their friends/benefactors.
