It’s never too late to admit that you’re out of your depth and that you need advice.

Trump, despite all our criticism of him, appears to have an iota of humility left in him and has started consulting with Tucker Carlson about what his next move should be.

If this info is in any way true, it will be the single ray of light coming out of this administration in a long, long while.

The Daily Beast:

In the upper echelons of the Trump administration, hawkish voices on Iran predominate—most notably Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and National Security Adviser John Bolton. But as tensions between the U.S. and Iran have escalated over the last few weeks, there’s been another, far different voice in the president’s ear: that of Fox News host Tucker Carlson.

A source familiar with the conversations told The Daily Beast that, in recent weeks, the Fox News host has privately advised Trump against taking military action against Iran. And a senior administration official said that during the president’s recent conversations with the Fox primetime host, Carlson has bashed the more “hawkish members” of his administration.

While some Fox News hosts have argued that a conflict with Iran would be justified, Carlson has consistently criticized U.S. military intervention abroad, particularly in the Middle East. In recent weeks, he has questioned whether war with Iran would be “in anyone’s interest.” Last month, he publicly chided Bolton, saying he was intentionally escalating tensions, and that a potential conflict would “be like Christmas, Thanksgiving, his birthday wrapped into one.”

During a Monday night segment devoted to the recent attack on two oil tankers in the Gulf of Oman, Carlson invoked the faulty intelligence leading up to the invasion of Iraq in 2003. The Fox News host compared Pompeo’s “misplaced certainty” that Iran attacked the tankers to former Secretary of State Colin Powell’s now-discredited claim that Iraq possessed weapons of mass destruction.

“We’re still paying a price for that,” Carlson said.

To be honest, I don’t even care about the what ifs of the war with Iran because I’ve resigned myself to the inevitability of it happening.

The decision was already made at a level higher than Trump and he’s been pretty much outmaneuvered on this front. Basically, the war will happen, one way or another. The only thing that remains to be decided is the scope of the conflict and when it will occur. It seems like every single US president has just been trying to delay the inevitable because they rightfully don’t want a bloody and senseless war going down as their legacy. Trump’s incompetence or blind allegiance to the Kushner clan (take your pick) has given the neocons the chance of a lifetime and they’ve jumped on it.

But for us on the Cyberpunk-Right, we have literally nothing to lose from this war.

Consider the following:

In the inevitable anti-War protests that will follow, normies will discover that they’re being censored by Big Tech, smeared by the media and attacked by masked thugs for expressing their views. Bewilderment and red-pilling will follow.
Thousands of soldiers will become disgruntled veterans asking dangerous questions like, “who sent us in to fight this war and why?”
Opposition to the US will only harden in the remaining Axis of Resistance countries.

There’s also the possibility that the US will lose the war.

Remember, Iran is much bigger, much more populous, more patriotic and much better equipped than Iraq.

There are resupply routes across the Caspian from Russia, and China is now a player on the world stage.

This won’t be a cakewalk like Iraq was, that’s for sure.

Although I don’t like to say this openly, losing the war might do America a lot of good. History has shown us that conservatives worship the state and the system as a default. It takes a lot to get them to identify as being opposed to the institutions of the state – usually, only a lost war can trigger that kind of loss of confidence in the system from right-of-center, military-worshipping and flag-waving normicons.

Just food for thought.

But while Tucker has the President’s ear, I hope against hope that he is explaining how the internet works and how absolutely fucked over Trump’s supporters have been by Big Tech.

If he can bring Trump up to speed on the cyber, and get him to sign some executive orders, it will honestly be enough – that is it will be SOMETHING.

Just a reminder to those of you keeping score at home, so far we have gotten literally nothing good out of Trump. NOTHING.

I hope Tucker “Boomer-Whisperer” Carlson can pull something off and save Trump’s (and America’s) ass, but I’m not holding my breath.

I think we need some John Philip Sousa playing in the background. ;)

Literally.

Watched Tuck's first segment just now.

When talking of the "why ?" for this illegitimate war (rhetorically ahaha), it seemed Tucker was hoping the first Zio war mongering BS shoveler would say the "i" word. 😂

I have heard Trump is ending the war in Afghanistan. It seems there is no decision there. The Taliban keeps hanging on.

Then there is ISIS. It seems they had the keys to the U.S. equipment that was stored in northern Iraq. I wonder who allowed this to happen?

Of course some say that ISIS was a direct result of Israeli and U.S. meddling in northern Iraq.

Where are Islamic militants in Iraq getting their weapons? The answer surprised us

I think that ISIS has also captured American weaponry in Mosul. ;)

Please.

If we'd had the oppo's in charge of this administration we'd be under the tyranny of the TPP, the Climate Accords, continued anti-business policies, and a raft of new left wing judges. That is just the tip of the iceberg.

President Trump is fighting on a number of fronts from righting a long neglected reform of immigration policies to turning around the bellicose disposition of our massively forward deployed military installed across the globe. Significant elements in Congress, the courts and globalist lobbies are battling him tooth and nail.

There are parts of the president's foreign policy that I do not like at all, but if he can stave off the conflagration that globalist whiners ceaselessly prophesy, he'll have done his job.

Trump is ending the war in Afghanistan. It is America's longest war.

Keeping the globalists at bay is a handful by itself.

And it is good that Mexico is helping to control the emigrants on their side of the border. BUILD THE WALL! ;)
