The BIG3 debut for Royce White and Josh Smith did not go as planned.

White and Smith got into an altercation in the first quarter of Saturday’s game between the Enemies and Bivouac and got ejected from the game:

Saturday was the first day of the season for the teams and actually the league debut for both players. White was the No. 1 pick in the draft, while Smith is a captain for the Enemies, an expansion team.

White had an assist before being tossed, while Smith did not accumulate any stats. Bivouac won 50-43, getting 22 points from Will Bynum.

White was the No. 16 overall pick by the Houston Rockets in 2012, though he only played in three career games due to mental health matters. Smith, a 2004 NBA draft pick straight out of high school, had a lengthy NBA career, mostly with the Atlanta Hawks.

Not that anyone cares, but WTF is the NBA Central?

I have the N figgered out, but what is the rest of it?

I really have little idea what league the Big 3 is in. Apparently, there are 16 cities in the league but none of them are NBA regular cities. I am thinking it might be a minor league operation like in baseball.

It seems these players were at one time big names in the NBA but have been "demoted" for one reason or another. ;)
