So you see when he threatened what Putin had an interest in, he became the bad guy.

Yes I did notice that. Thanks for the astute observation. ;)

""Starting in 1935, moreover, the Communist party vigorously pursued an issue‐oriented united front policy—a tactic agreed upon by the Seventh Congress of the Comintern. In practice, this policy saw Mr. Browder attempting conciliation with the Socialist party, whose leader, Norman Thomas, he had ringingly denounced in 1932 as “a social fascist.” (Although the two men exchanged many caus tic words, Mr. Browder, in his obituary interview, referred to the late Mr. Thomas as “my dear friend.”)

Norman Thomas was the Bernie Sanders of that era.

All of them hated America and were hell bent on bringing us down.

Nothing has changed. Nothing.

What an outstanding guy if it's all true -- thanx, B!

It's extremely foolish (I was going to say tragically stupid) to entertain any respect for Russia. Amurricans worship him because he's such a superficial contrast to our own First Goons, but it's pure fantasy.

It's extremely foolish (I was going to say tragically stupid) to entertain any respect for Russia. Amurricans worship him because he's such a superficial contrast to our own First Goons, but it's pure fantasy.

Did you hear him say he followed the Grateful Dead around the country for several years? We worked them several times in Chicago area.

One time on the north side, someone was counterfeiting tickets. You could tell the bad tickets because they had a black smudge on them.

I worked security for the promoter. Every bad ticket that got thru, that was money the promoter was losing. I was checking tickets at one entrance. This guy handed me one of those tickets. I said, "This ticket is no good." He grabbed it from my hand and ran. I chased him and caught him by his sweater. He slipped out of his sweater and got away.

So I threw his sweater of the rack by the front door. He came back to get it. I grabbed him and threw him on the ground and said to him, "Give me that ticket right now or I'm going to rip your head off." The cop leaned over and said to him, "You better do like he is telling you."

He reached in his pocket and pulled it out while yelling, "HERE! HERE!"

I got five of them. That was the most out of anyone.

Then on the south side in Tinley Park at the World Music Theater (outdoor theater), the first night the crowd rushed the fence on top of the hill. There were so many people coming over the top of the fence it looked like a waterfall.

The next night they had the dogs out there, "Woof. I want a piece of a Dead Head. Woof! Woof!"

Then one time at Soldier Field, the van pulls up and Jerry Garcia jumps out. Some guy on the local crew nails him for an autograph. Band Security was screaming, "Get this guy out of here!" I grab him and tell him, "Disappear for a while until this guy cools off."

At another show at Soldier Field, myself and another guy were behind the stage where no one was sitting. This guy comes out of the tunnel and runs up and sits by the scoreboard. We wave him down, "C'mon down here!"

I said, "How did you get in here? Do you have a ticket?" He tried to run and we grabbed him. Then he tried to fight us. We told him, "If you fight us you are going to jail. How did you get in here?"

He rode his bike in. He fell in with the roadies and road in with them. "OK, so where is your bike now?" He said, "It is chained up to the rail downstairs." I said, "Give me the key and I will bring it out to you."

I tried selling it on the way out but there were no takers. I told him, "You are lucky to get this back." ROTFLMAO!

Needless to say I am very lucky to recall any of this because the meningitis wiped out so much memory.

Jerry went for one last big hit on the crack pipe and it killed him. I can recall being in the local crew room at one of the venues I worked. They had the inheritance hears on closed circuit TV and his two wives were fighting over hwo was going to get what. ;)

Another grab-bag of priceless stories, B! Hot dog!

So Browder was a Dead camp follower? Yuck -- one of the most overrated superstar bands ever.

Many years ago in Jew Jersey I had a funny piano student, a solemn jewess wit' a Bronx accent notably lacking in feminine graces.

She was a wildly successful schoolteacher but came to me with only one goal in mind -- learning how to play Bruce Springsteen's grungy song Thunder Road. She had been a Bruce groupie, following the band from place to place for some time. I thought to myself "Lady, you're the one redeeming schoolkids from Sesame Street-Related ADHD, and this is as elevated as things get inside your head?"

Now here's a SONG -- don't know why I think of it just now:
