In a letter sent to NFL Networks Ian Rapoport from Elliotts agent, attorneys Scott Rosenblum and Jason Lampert said the criminal complaint filed against Elliott is the latest attempt at extortion by the security guard.

The NFL announced on July 3 that it would not suspend the Pro Bowl running back for the incident in Las Vegas, so at the very least Elliott will be free of any issues on the field.
Unfortunately for Elliott, it appears hes headed for additional legal drama from the fallout of the incident. It could serve as an additional lesson for the 23-year-old and help him avoid any potential issues in the future.
