Down 45-38 with mere seconds remaining, Tate took the snap, looked to throw, and instead took off, breaking tackles to get inside the 10, inside the five, and...stopped at the one-yard-line.
It was a miracle for Arizona to even be in a position to tie. The Wildcats got the ball back on its own 16-yard-line with 51 seconds and no timeouts. Tate led the offense down the field into Hawaii territory, setting up the final play.
Arizona wasted six Hawaii turnovers and 469 total yards from Tate. Kevin Sumlin is now 0-2 in openers at Arizona.
In my prior life as an auto dealership executive I worked with some gamblers that always took Hawaii and the points because visiting teams would party and get sunburned before game time ... and most often didn't cover the spread.

"And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them. "
