Report: Robert Kraft was ‘enraged’ over Antonio Brown text messages

Brown was released by the Patriots on Friday, 11 days after signing with the team following his release by the Oakland Raiders.

Sports Illustrated published a story on Monday containing new allegations against Brown, including a sexual misconduct allegation from a second woman. Two days after the story was published, Brown sent that woman harassing text messages and included his lawyer/inside circle on the texts. News of Brown sending the messages emerged late Thursday night, which led to Brown’s release the next day.

According to a report from The Athletic’s Jeff Howe, Patriots owner Robert Kraft was “enraged” when he learned about the text messages.

Kraft, who was on a business trip, became enraged Friday when he heard the details of Brown’s most recently reportedly incident of text messaging harassment of a former female acquaintance. Kraft and Belichick spoke and decided together to officially release Brown just 11 days after the Patriots signed the controversial star receiver, according to sources.

When the team owner is enraged over something like that — especially for a player who already made them look bad with the civil suit — you know it would spell bad news, and it did for Brown.

Brown has now been dumped by three teams this year. The receiver’s agent says some teams have expressed interest in his client, but as long as Brown is facing an investigation and discipline from the league, a deal seems unlikely.

Kraft had the decency to pay for his blow-jobs, or locals, or whatever he got in FL.

Call me a radical,but I sense a trend.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ In the entire history of the world, the only nations that had to build walls to keep their own citizens from leaving were those with leftist governments.
