This really made me feel good so I wanted to share it with you all. In fact, it warmed the cockles of my usually bleak and wind swept heart.

A pollster from the Republican National Committee called me here at work and asked if I thought that things would be bad if the Democrats got into power in the next election. I told her what I thought was that Bush should be impeached, tried for treason and hung from a lamp post. She said that's all she needed to know and wished me a good day. I hope they get a lot of responses like that. I must say, she didn't even sound surprised or aghast or anything, so I wouldn't be surprised if they HAVE been getting a lot of responses like that.

As someone in a state of the Union undergoing invasion which is not only being ignored by the Bush regime but permitted, aided and succored by that cabal, I have for four straight years now told them, "Not another red cent until something is done about the borders and illegals!"

Obviously, they've been listening to me....

Our ancestors fought and died for their liberties and ours. If we are worthy of them, we must be prepared to do likewise.

That's the weird thing. She sounded very pleasant and professional and she didn't vocally bat an eyelash over what I said. THat makes me suspect she's hearing similar things from other people. Folks, even Repubs, are really really angry over the incompetence and arrogance of the Bush admin - the spendthrift ways, the war in Iraq, the giving over our border to Mexico. I felt kind of bad in a way unloading on her, but I just felt such a surge of anger that I said what I really think. Maybe they need to hear this.

She probably worked for a contracted company and not at the RNC anyway.. And she may have felt the same way as you ! LOL

They do need to hear this.. for whatever good it will do.. but what it did for you is to be able to vocalize it.. theraputic!

That's funny, Zip, you might be right about that :) I wonder if we had an honest poll of Americans how ole Lonesome George would make out.

The only one I pay close attention to is Zogby.. last time I saw one it was 33% or so approval.. Im surprised it's not in the single digits.

That, or she's a minimum wage call-hive worker who is contracted out by her employer to the GOP and serves them only because, if she resists, she'll be fired.

She's probably not even a Republican. Just a struggling laborer who must betray her own political interests and serve the bastards because their soul-crushing policies has deprived her of any better way to make a living.

Check out my blog, America, the Bushieful.

Yeah, I kind of felt bad after speaking with her that I lost my temper. I wasn't angry at her, of course, nor was I abusive of her, but I don't often get asked my actual opinion of anything in any polls so I just said what I thought. I hope she's not subject to a lot of abuse in her job as I can imagine a lot of people probably had opinions similar to mine. She handled herself very professionally though and I give her kudos.
