Title: Rep. Tulsi Gabbard gets 2020 endorsement from David Duke

Democratic presidential hopeful Rep. Tulsi Gabbard has apparently gotten an endorsement she said she can do without — from former KKK leader David Duke.

The 68-year-old white supremacist and former GOP Louisiana state senator plastered a banner on his Twitter page prominently featuring a photograph of the Hawaiian lawmaker, the New York Post reported.

“Tulsi Gabbard for President,” it blares, along with the tagline: “Finally a candidate who will actually put America First rather than Israel First!”

“Tulsi Gabbard is currently the only Presidential candidate who doesn’t want to send White children off to die for Israel,” the former Grand Wizard tweeted his more than 50,000 followers along with a photograph of Gabbard meeting a US service member and his child.

But Gabbard wasted no time in lashing back at Duke and rejected his backing.

“I have strongly denounced David Duke’s hateful views and his so-called ‘support’ multiple times in the past, and reject his support,” she told The Post in a statement Tuesday.

“Publicizing Duke’s so-called ‘endorsement’ is meant to distract from my message: that I will end regime-change wars, work to end the new cold war and take us away from the precipice of a nuclear war, which is a greater danger now than ever before.”

Gabbard — who is of Samoan heritage — served with the US Army National Guard in Iraq from 2004 to 2005 and was first elected to office in Hawaii in 2013.

The 37-year-old received Duke’s unwelcome endorsement despite several moves signaling her potential support for the Jewish state.

In November 2016, Duke tweeted that Gabbard was a representative of a “political realignment” he hoped to see in the US — and called for Donald Trump to appoint her secretary of state.

She responded: “U didn’t know I’m Polynesian/Cauc? Dad couldn’t use ‘whites only’ water fountain. No thanks. Ur white nationalism is pure evil.”

The following month, she tweeted: “Our movement is one of love/aloha, inclusivity. Duke represents hatred, racism, anti-Semitism, fear. We don’t want his ‘support.’ Period.”

In the early 2000s, Gabbard touted working for her father’s anti-gay organization, which sought to pass a measure against same-sex marriage in her state and promoted controversial conversion therapy.

In a statement to CNN, she said: “First, let me say I regret the positions I took in the past, and the things I said. I’m grateful for those in the LGBTQ+ community who have shared their aloha with me throughout my personal journey.”

Duke also endorsed Trump for president in 2016.

When asked by CNN’s Jake Tapper in February that year whether he’d disavow the former Grand Wizard, the then-Republican candidate said: “Just so you understand, I don’t know anything about David Duke, OK?”

Duke again praised Trump’s presidency after the deadly white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, in August 2017 in which Trump claimed there were “very fine people on both sides.”

Duke did not immediately respond to a message for comment Tuesday.

The story here is the media changing their tune. When Duke endorsed Trump, it was all "See, this proves what a horrible man the candidate is." This time around, it is "No one can control who endorses them".

“I am not one of those weak-spirited, sappy Americans who want to be liked by all the people around them. I don’t care if people hate my guts; I assume most of them do. The important question is whether they are in a position to do anything about it. My affections, being concentrated over a few people, are not spread all over Hell in a vile attempt to placate sulky, worthless shits.” - William S Burroughs

See? She's no different than the rest, just the fake opposition.

She could have taken a somewhat different position, but what she needs to do is preempt any accusations of accepting the dreaded "anti-semite" label, as that just gives ammo to the MSM bias that she's already dealing with now.

She could have simply stated that all US citizens have the right to vote and that she is seeking the votes of all US citizens regardless of ideology, including those that are flawed, to be president of all American people regardless of race or creed.

from cleverism.com ~

So far, there are four presidents who did not take their salaries. They are:

Donald J. Trump: Before taking office, current president Donald Trump was already wildly wealthy. By the time he took office, he was worth $3.1 billion, according to Forbes, which was actually a decline from his $4.5 billion net worth in 2015.

During his presidential campaign, Trump announced that he would only take a $1 salary since the constitution required him to take a salary. After taking office, he followed his words and has donated his $400,000 annual salary to various governmental departments.

John F. Kennedy: Just like Trump, J. F. Kennedy was a very wealthy man when he took office in 1961. He came from a wealthy family worth over $1 billion at the time. Therefore, he did not really need the presidential salary to get by.

During his term in office, he donated his $100,000 salary to various charities, though he kept the $50,000 annual expense account. Kennedy had also donated all his salary for all the 14 years he served in Congress.

Herbert Hoover: When he took office in 1913, Hoover was worth about $4 million, which was quite a huge amount at the time (about $103 million today). Therefore, when he took office, he donated part of his $75,000 salary to various charities, while the rest he gave to his staff.

George Washington: The first US president was also quite wealthy before becoming president. During his days as a military commander, he had declined taking a salary, claiming that service to the nation was enough for him.

When he took office, he did not want to take a salary, but since the constitution required him to take it, he took the $25,000 salary and donated it.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

Simply not true, Ping -- if she's even 1/10 what she claims to be. The willingness to defy the media has to come first with any candidate claiming to be different from the herd.

Do you know how many Democrats are leaving the Party because of its evils? She could have wowed them by responding "I'm not discriminatory. I'll take anybody's support and don't care what anybody thinks of it!" Republicans too! She knows she's never going to get elected. She's CUCKED us on this one.

The media are the problem, but it's not one candidate in 10,000 that's even willing to criticize them. They've never been in a more vulnerable position, either.

Yes, she could have. But keep in mind she's not even 40 years old yet, and some wisdom has yet to be developed in her.

Given her young age, she's doing quite well. She thinks independently. She speaks well in front of people -- not an easy thing. She's doing more than trying to just appeal to D voters. She's not controlled by the Deep State. In a lot of ways she's a D version of Trump.

I'm cutting her slack. If you want a perfect candidate, you know what you need to do...

Reagan

When I lived in Chicago, we heard that Reagan was coming to visit Gordon Tech High School.

I was working for State of Illinois at the time and was home that day because we worked snow and ice the night before.

So I drove over there. It was about a mile or so. I parked but the cops would not let you onto California Ave where he was coming in. We found a house with wide yard and you could look thru the chain link fence and see him when he got out of the limo.

They flew the Presidential helicopter into Lane Tech football stadium and then drove him about a mile over to Gordon.

I am lucky to remember this because of the meningitis. ;)

My take away from this is that David Duke is a part of the machine and because of his notoriety he gets paid to do thinks. Like endorse the candidates who need to be brought down a peg. Donald Trump being the guy last time. Tulsa Gabbard this time. Hillary calling Tulsi a Russian asset should be the tell. David Duke to me like all paid agitators and actors is part of the apparatus to control public opinion.

True. Real estate always holds the reality that if you fail to pay the landlord the real estate taxes you owe the property will be sold at auction on the court house steps. ;)

That’s David Duke. Too politically stupid to understand when the truth should be kept to yourself.

That may be true, but he is a PhD. He said all the things he did with the Klan was when he was younger.

I got in a fight with my co-driver once. He popped me in the mouth. And then he said, "You want to get out?" I said, "Yeah."

When he jumped out I pulled the door shut and locked him out. He was jumping up and punching the window. I tried to leave him there but he climbed up on the catwalk behind the tractor.

I called my ex co-driver. He said, "Don't stop in Kansas City. Keep going."

So I called the local cops on 911 and arranged a place to me on an exit ramp. When I stopped he jumped down and motioned me out of the truck. I said, "You better look behind you." The cops nabbed him. And we worked out a deal to bury the hatchet. He told me then, "Prepare yourself." He had plans to whip my butt. He hit the sleeper and I called the boss. He told me to get him out of the truck.

When I got into Springfield, I pulled up in front of a Wal Mart. The local cops met me there. I opened the sleeper door and woke him up. He looked and saw the cops and said I was a pussy. I told him, "That may be. But James said he wants you out of the truck." I wasn't going to get my ass kicked for any reason.

Later, that guy was driving the tractor me and my co-driver usually had. He was going thru a scale house in South Dakota. A dog keyed on the truck. They stopped him and climbed all over those boxes of flowers in the trailer. They ran his I.D. and found he had a warrant in Texas and had him extradited. It must have been a felony since they would not do that over a misdemeanor.

That company needed drivers and running a background check cost around $100. It might have been better for both if they had and found he had the warrant. Then they would have told him to get it taken care of and not hired him.

It was a great gig and paid in CASH every week. I think the boss was picking up all of the taxes and what not. He was making a ton of money running those loads down to Florida. ;)

There are many truths. Discretion is knowing which ones to utter and to whom.

Timeless truth, thanks for spelling it out.

“The most dangerous man to any government is the man who is able to think things out... without regard to the prevailing superstitions and taboos. Almost inevitably he comes to the conclusion that the government he lives under is dishonest, insane, intolerable.” ~ H. L. Mencken

Duke is blamed for telling truths in an articulate manner by others with an opposing and deadly agenda. White people have been targeted for extinction by elitists and the morons that believe communism is their savior. Whitey has moved all over the globe followed immediately by hordes of incapable parasites that think they can run things better, and end up starving to death after they seize power.

Ephesians 5:11King James Version (KJV)

morons that believe communism is their savior.

There are also people that espouse that "Communism is Dead".

Socialists are the first ones eaten when Communists take control.
